OK, so it’s chucking down with rain.
Do I really want to go out and train in this?
It’s gonna be wet …
I’ll put on some waterproofs
It’s gonna be cold …
Best I put on more layers
My hands will freeze…
That’ll be gloves then
Oh and maybe a scarf too for my neck
Have any of you seen a human dissolve in a rain shower?
No, nor me
Or rust away like an old Leyland car?
Surprise, surprise, that’s a no as well
So now I’m warm, waterproofed against something that won’t harm me anyway, and ready to go. The thing is it’s all a bit hot wearing all this clobber. I’d better take a layer or two off
And now it’s time to go out the front door, push on through and realise that nothing will stop me from getting out and getting on.
